Spring/Summer 2011

COS asked me to illustrate their S/S 11 collection. The resulting illustrations took their lead from the Look book photography and the inspiration which informed this season. Some of the trends included the clean and controlled lines of Le Corbusier’s furniture and the decadently smudgy brush strokes of Elizabeth Peyton’s artwork. 

My aim with the illustrations was to represent this collection both in look and in trend while representing the essence of the silhouettes in an abstract way.
